Governor Jerry Brown has issued an executive order for Californians to reduce their water consumption by 25%. This isn't a surprise considering California is in year three of a severe drought. The drought has implications for the rest of the United States with farm land that is now fallow; fruit and vegetable prices are certain to rise.
Many Western States are currently in some level of drought, including Colorado. We could take a proactive approach to reducing our water consumption in our homes and businesses -- and head of water rationing.
