The City of Denver recycles only 14% of its waste -- well below the rate of other major American cities. What if Denver could divert waste so homes could be heated by waste?
The Swedes have seemingly perfected the "waste to energy" with what they call district heating plants which are essentially large ovens that burn trash to heat homes.
